A bit late to this one, but now we are 'Up 2 Speed' with East London duo Charlie Pelling and Mark Thompson, aka Dirty Nice, and their scrummy newest single.
The vaporwave-influenced track, filled with glitchy, synth-pop touches, sultry vocals and disco beats, comes from their debut EP, 'Sexbots, Devils and a High-Speed Car Chase', due in October. and has a distinct American flavour about it - which should augur well for their upcoming tour Stateside.
“Nowadays, no-one is 'Up 2 Speed'," say the Nice two. “The world is moving too fast for humanity to cope. We can no longer reliably predict the future, even just a few years ahead. This song follows the story of old friends reuniting and struggling to keep up."
Dirty Nice are on tour with Elder Island in the US through September and October
