There's a familarity to Cheshire's Strangers, yet the alt-pop three-piece -who Little Indie featured late last year with single 'Hibernate' - manage to bring a distinctive appeal to new self-produced single 'You and I'.
Released last week (along with B-side 'Hollows/Highways'), it follows their mixtape, 'Midnight Driving', from earlier in the year, and an appearance at Liverpoool's Sound City festival.
The upbeat 'You and I' melds an interesting and engaging vocal from Liam McGrath, with an amalgamation of electronic and organic elements that deliver a strong presence.
