We heard LA newcomers The Paranoyds with 'Carnage Bargain' back in July, now the garage-rock four-piece share another track from their forthcoming debut album, ‘Carnage Bargain,’ out on September 13 via Suicide Squeeze.
Record opener 'Face First, which comes with visuals directed by David Gantz and Theo Cohn, kicks off with the squall of guitars that builds around guitarist/vocalist Lexi Funston vocal delivery about watching other people’s private lives unfold on our phones: : “Check my phone, I’m waiting for a sign / On lookout, I’ve left a / Version of me behind / Around the bend, the car turns / Just in time.”
