The Lottery Winners head for 'Hawaii' on new release

Words: Sam Geary

Released today through Modern Sky,
The Lottery Winners drop ‘Hawaii’ their latest indie-pop thumper that is surely the perfect soundtrack to a brighter day, no matter the weather.

"Growing up on the grey streets of Leigh, it’s hard for a boy not to dream of greener pastures,” explains Lancastrian frontman Thom Rylance. “How many people spend their whole life waiting for the summer? It’s foolish to live in the dark."

The track, with its danceable hooks, huge choruses, and off-centre guitar-pop swagger, is taken from their self-titled debut album, due for release on March 13 2020.
