Watch :: Palace - Heaven Up There
Directed by Ed Rosie and starring Olivier Award-winning actor Kenneth Cranham, Palace's new visuals for 'Heaven Up There' are a darkly affecting and epic seven minutes.
The single-shot film opens with the camera slowly panning a hall and then into a darkened room where a figure (Cranham) sits watching a TV screen, of a home video of a young woman. As we see his face etched with sorrow and remembrance, the room lightens as the woman materialises in the room, and the couple embrace. You feel he has conjured up his, now departed, wife for a brief moment.
'Heaven Up There' is taken from the band's second album ‘Life After’.
