Listen :: PACE - Hunt Me Down
Words: Sam Geary
London-based alt-pop four-piece PACE released new single, the moody and cinematic 'Hunt Me Down' last week
With frontman Adam Pavlovcin's deep, soulful vocals with high falsetto melodies within the band’s distinctive sound palette, they blend airy guitar lines, dramatic piano parts and orchestral drums with native harmonium sounds and experimental synth bass, to create something emotional binding.
“This song was one of the many we wrote, but it feels special as it was originally written on an old harmonium Adrian (Cermak, keys) bought for almost nothing at a random flea market," reveals Pavlovcin. "It has its spirit and it gave me a new inspiration to write this song about facing our own fears in life, rather than suppressing them and leaving them unspoken and behind. Because they never disappear just like that. We have to be brave enough to face them and work on them, otherwise, they’ll silently "Hunt Us Down'.”
