Ahead of their debut full length 'Family Portraits', out November 15 via Druyan Records, Papertwin release single cut, 'Happy Half Lives'.
"This song examines the disparity between our inner and outer lives," say the trio: Max Decker, Francis Cardinale and Nick Shopa. "Who we think we are versus how we are seen and judged by others. Questioning whether you were even born into the right body at the right place or the right time. The silence between two people sitting in a room can be both ominous and comforting all at once."
Recorded in vocalist Decker’s home studio in Massachusetts, the sub-five minute atmospheric track shines with its ethereal synth-wave spaciousness.
