Released today (November 29) via Cartoon Records, London-based singer-songwriter Archie Faulks returns with new single, ‘Foreign Kiss’.
With over 2 million streams across his previous singles, ‘Foreign Kiss’, which comes from the new EP, 'Longing in London’, out February 14 2020, melds a delicate ambience that gently pulls you closer and closer, as its lyrucal inspiration deals with the end of a relationship.
"After the fall out of a passionate relationship it's easy to think that you'll never find anyone you will care for as much as your ex,” explains Archie. "This song is the moment where that feeling changes- the nervous and exciting time of meeting someone new but not knowing what to do about it. In this case falling for someone living under the same roof. Both people self medicating over the loss of a previous relationship but doing so together- uncertain about where they stand and, in my case, fearful of making there feelings clear. Hence writing a song about it.”
