New Myths, the New York-based power-pop-rock trio, gollow their July rekease of 'Living Doll' with a grunge-laden cover of EMF’s 'Unbelievable', on which they have stamped their own mark, taking a down-tempo line on the 90s song.
“We were in the studio recording new original tracks and decided we wanted to try a cover which we hadn’t done yet", say the band: Brit Boras (guitar/lead vocals), Rosie Slater (drums/vocals), and Marina Ross (bass/vocals)
"We couldn’t seem to agree on anything, but then when Brit brought up 'Unbelievable' we were all in agreement that we all love the song and we also wanted to cover a song that we could completely change up and make our own. Once we decided to slow down, re-harmonize, and grunge-ify 'Unbelievable', we were all super down and really into it.”
Catch New Myths live on November 10 at Baby's All Right in Brooklyn, NY, followed by Babes All Rock Festival on December 8 at Trans Pecos, Brooklyn.
