Melbourne's Cable Ties have announced their signing to Merge Records with the release of thtir typically fierce and empowering new single 'Tell Them Where To Go' (first released back in early 2018), which matches Jenny McKechnie's dynamite vicals against a barrage of dirty guitars.
A Little Indie regular since 2017 when we first heard 'Say What You Mean', the garage-punks - Shauna Boyle, Nick Brown, and McKechnie - are known for their feminist, environmentalist, and political stance, and after this year's appearance at The Great Escape, and playing UK dates with Amyl & the Sniffers and Tropical Fuck Storm, we are sure to be hearing more from the trio next year.
