Birmingham's new multi-genre music and arts festival, showcasing the sound of Birmingham and beyond, Sonic Wave, is already looking a sure-fire winner with its first wave line-up announcement.
JAWS, Swim Deep, The Blinders, Lady Bird, Talk Show, The Ninth Wave, Lucia and The Best Boys, Walt Disco, The Clause, The K's, Noisy, Guru, Violet, Sugarthief, and headed by Brum stalwarts The Twang are just some of the names revealed today - with more still to come.
The festival will take place on Sunday May 24 at Custard Factory, 02 Institute, Mama Roux's and Dead Wax venues in the city, kicking off at 1pm.
