Bleach Lab return with second single, the melancholic 'Sleep'
Words: Sam Geary
After making their debut late last year with ‘Heartache of the Season’, South London daydreamers Bleach Lab return with the lush and melancholic 'Sleep'.
Drifting somewhere between the pastel-tinted indie pop and reverb-dipped dreamgaze, ‘Sleep’ offers hazy rumination on a feeling of opening your eyes to a relationship that has too long felt like a bad dream.
“At its core, ‘Sleep’ tells a story about the breakdown of a long term relationship and the thought processes that you may follow as you begin to emotionally remove yourself from it," says vocalist Jenna Kyle. “It’s based around the idea that although you can put everything you have into someone, ultimately the outcome will never change if it isn’t meant to be."
