Codex check into new single 'Airport'

Manchester multi-instrumentalist electronic production duo Shahriar Parast and Adam Mayer, combined as Codex, umveil new single 'Airport'.

Bringing together lush swathes of electronics, the co-produced (with Andy Gannon) track features ambient new wave textures with touches of experimental techno pop.

"The composition of this track was made up of a lot of accidents that just fit together," they say, "it’s hard to pinpoint the vibe of the track as it shifts through a level of ferocity and melancholy. Finding the balance between these feelings, and the transitions from one to the other is the essence of the track."
