We recently heard 19-year-old Sydney-based artist merci, mercy's second single 'Fall Apart', now she returns with another taster of her upcoming debut EP 'no thank you, no thanks', out on October 16 via Liberation Records.

Produced by Chris Collins (Middle Kids, Gangs of Youth), 'Something You Like', which is accompanied by another animated lyric video from Bianca Bosso, sees merci, mercy’s longing vocals gracefully arranged over sparkling alt-pop textures as the track is an honest lyrical observation of toxic relationships layered over tender melodies.

“This song really poured out of me and was the easiest one to write on the EP," she says. "The song was written from observing toxic relationships and seeing how someone can change you without you realising. It’s my go to song to play whenever I pick up my uke.”
