The band formerly known as We Are Augustines have made a few changes since the release of their critically acclaimed debut album ‘Rise Ye Sunken Ships'. Firstly, they have dropped the 'We Are' at the front of their name to become more simply, Augustines, after having won the right to use their original name, ‘Augustines’. And while having spent this summer recording new material for their sophomore self-titled album, the three - Billy McCarthy, Eric Sanderson and Rob Allen - havealso found time to relocate home from New York City to the other side of the US, to pitch up in Seattle.
Ahead of their upcoming US tour supporting Frightened Rabbit, the band have unveiled a new track, ‘Cruel City’ - which you can stream below.
