Jack Robert Hardman Shares New EP Taster Track
Ascot's own son Jack Robert Hardman kicks off 2014 with announcement of a new EP. 'The Great Unknown' is released on May 19 via Pleasant Pursuits/Cooking Vinyl Publishing.
Check out EP opener, 'Loose Connection', below.
After releasing his self-titled debut album in 2012, folloeing through with singles 'Famous', 'Lights Of London' and last year's 'Plymouth', Jack finished off last year being named as one of 2013’s breakthrough artists in the Sunday Times Culture magazine by Simon Raymonde of Bella Union.
'The Great Unknown' looks like being another winner for the 24-year-old singer/songwriter, offering the familiarly warming hazy acoustic folk melodies and quirky percussion that Jack has become synonymous with. The sound recalls artists such as Beach Boys, Grizzly Bear, David Kitt and Sufjan Stevens in its presentation of songs that are both intricately layered, yet beautifully simplistic.
