Police Release Unseen Cobain Photos

New images have been released by the Seattle Police Department of Nirvana frontman Kurt Cobain's death scene.

35 photographs, previously unseen, have been revealed following the recent re-investigation into the case. Almost 20 years after the 27-year-old's body was found after committing suicide at his Lake Washington Boulevard home on April 8 1994, undeveloped photos taken at the scene have come to light.

Although no fresh evidence has been forthcoming, the police department have released the images in a bid to quell the many conspiracy theories that the frontman had been murdered.

Included in the new batch of photos are Cobain's suicide note, with a pen stuck directly through the middle of it, and images of drug apparatus with syringes and spoon, as well as his wallet and driving licence.

The police investigation concluded at the time that the singer had committed suicide three days before being found by an electrician on s call to the property on April 5.
