It was a year ago we first came across LOVATS the Birmingham five-piece (formerly known as Quayside - until they got somewhat pissed off that it was constantly mispronounced ‘Qwayside’ and opted for a change) who caught our ear with the deliciously infectious 'Over'. They then went on to upload 'Golden', 'Respite' and an earlier demo version of 'White Fire' just before Christmas, all of which demonstrating they were a band with bright prospects.
Now 'White Fire' is to get its official release on May 18 thru Morky Beat Records - which of course gives us a good excuse for another burst of it here.
Lovats make their London live debut at Camden Proud Galleries on May 22.
