Sometimes, music surprises you. This time, Rinse have surprised us all with the label debut single from indie four-piece States of Emotion, 'The Way That I'm Wired'.

The band may seem an odd choice for the big time from Rinse, who usually prefer to stick to safer, radio-friendly material such as Katy B. But, these four Essex lads have been going for a long time, and success is what they deserve - and with the backing of a huge label, if could be about to come their way.

'The Way That I'm Wired' features their typical anthemic guitar sound and chorus, with frontman Olly Hookings' vocals stronger than previous efforts. The song is ripe for the radio too, with it's thumping beat and keys kicking in, with a swelling post-chorus too, so expect to hear it turning up on an airwave near you soon.
