Watch :: Jubilee Courts - Under The Sand Again

Since we first introduced them here last October as our 'One To Watch', Northampton's Jubilee Courts have not disappointed.

Their debut single ‘Room With A View’, which was released on Stalkers Records last December, was mixed by James Bagshaw, vocalist with Temples. A further seal of approval from the Temples frontman came in the form of his percussion work on the track.

Now with a new EP in the offing 'Go From The Blue Light Into The Moonlight’, they have also put out a music video to accompany track 'Under The Sand Again'. The video was produced by Tom O'Mara who has worked with Jubilee Courts several times now, depicting their blend of post-punk and shoegaze through a kaleidoscope of psychedelia.

You can view the video below.

‘Go From The Blue Light Into The Moonlight’ was written in mid-2013. The piece is a minimalistic portrayal of where the band began, a reflection of them growing up in the provincial midlands with some tracks representing the routine and monotony whilst others offer a contrast through undertones of romanticism and the avant-garde.

'Go From The Blue Light Into The Moonlight' is out on August 4 as a digital release.

Jubilee Courts play Roadmender, Northampton on August 2.
