A long time since we first mentioned electronic trio Dems here, back in 2012 with 'Christabel'. Finally they have set a release date - November 3 via Sew In Love Records - for ‘Muscle Memory’, their long-awaited debut album.
The last year has seen them earn acclaim, a growing fanbase, as well as having a successful run at SXSW back in March.
Atmospherically haunting vocals courtesy of Dan Moss, provide the top coating to the sparse electronic beats of new single ‘Lioness’. Vocally, Moss is reminiscent of James Blake, the dulcet South London croon juxtaposing seamlessly with the glitchy noise created by his bandmates.
DEMS play Brixton Academy w/ Azealia Banks this Friday (19).
