Track Of The Day :: Tuff Love - Slammer

Glasgow duo Tuff Love have announced the release of their second EP, 'Dross'. Out on February 9 2015, it is the follow-up to their 'Junk' EP which appeared back in May.

Preceding 'Dross' - out on Lost Map Records on 10” pink vinyl (w/ download code) and as an iTunes download - is lead track ‘Slammer’ - out on November 24. Once again the pair (Julie Eisenstein, vocals, guitar; Suse Bear, bass, vocals, and who is also a member of fellow Lost Map artists Monoganon, and The Pictish Trail’s live band) seem to have the knack of producing perfect little nuggets of sweetly layered harmonies drip behind sun-streaked fuzz-full guitars and sleek bass lines to create a perfect slice of Glaswegian pop.

It closes a busy year for Tuff Love who have played festivals across the country, including Glastonbury, T in the Park, Wickerman and Howlin’ Fling, toured the UK and Europe, and opened for artists including Real Estate, Joanna Gruesome, Perfect Pussy and Honeyblood. See below for their November live dates.
