Kagu, aka Sean Heathcliff, has just released his first work under his new project name.
Formerly co-vocalist/guitarist with the critically acclaimed Snakadaktal, who released a debut album, 'Sleep In The Water', last year, before the Melbourne five-piece then announced a surprise split this March, Heathcliff's debut single “'Shadow of the Wind'” is something of a departure from the Snakadaktal sound.
Taking inspiration from daydreams and thoughts to rough sketches and demos, 'Shadow of the Wind' is a delicately layered minimalist composition comprised mainly around guitar and Heathcliff's evocative and poignant vocal, creating a sonorous soundscape.
Kagu's debut EP set for release early next year,
