February 13 2015 - Hot Top Ten

SUGGESTIVE MOTION - FAIRY TALE BOOK
Birmingham duo, Alan Clarke and Vin Parker, follow up last year's single 'The Walker' with their latest taster of 80s/90s electro from their debut album 'Supermarionation' due out later this year.

OSCA - SLEEPTALK
The south-east London outfit kick off 2015 with new single 'Smoke' - which this track is B-side to, out in March - fulfilling their penchant for subtle guitars, reverberant synths and a swoonful vocal.

GALLERY CIRCUS - HOLLYWOOD DRIP
The Tyneside identical twin duo of Daniel and Graeme Ross rock up the raucous vocals and penetrating guitar riffs on this full on blues 'n' drums attack single out February 23.

GORDI - TAKEN BLAME
The 21-year-old Sydney-based Sophie Payten's follow-up to 'Nothing's As It Seems', takes electronic acoustica infused with fluttering synths and clattering percussion to create a breezy, indie-folk appetizer to her upcoming EP.

MALKA - WOLVES AND SHEEP malkanyc
Taken from the just released debut mini-album 'The Constant State' by the dreampop/shoegaze hybrid that has a Peruvian vocalist, sing in Spanish, and are based in New York, and who we first featured here back in 2013.

TIDALWAVE - ENDINGS
Taking things to the heavier end of grunge rock - think a Nirvana/Pearl Jam cross - the North Carolina drums/guitar two-piece with a track from their just released self-titled EP.

SUNS - TEMPLE BOY
Producers Andy McDonnell and Michael Tyrell team up for this second single (after 'We Were Kings') out February 23 via their own label, Taiyō Records. Textured, brooding Berlin-type pop. Catch them live at Sebright Arms, London on February 24.

YAMAN PALAK - I NEED YOU
Swiss-born, Brooklyn-based singer / songwriter-guitarist takes a hazy
vocalled, atmospheric swerve on this latest track, taken from a EP out later this year.

GREEN CIRCLES - TURNED TO STONE
More 60s psych pop-gaze, following on from 'Everybody's Got A Gun', from the Newcastle-based solo project of Paul McGill.

GRAND UNION HIJACK - ROCK THE BOAT
Released in January, the psychy reverbed debut single from the Notts-based guitar/bass'n'drums duo, Ian Ellerker and James Yeomans.
