Listen :: The Half Earth - Borders
The fragile slow-builder of a track that is 'Borders' is taken from ‘Light Breaks In', the debut EP from Sheffield's Conor Stephenson - The Half Earth.
Following on from last year' ‘Glass' - which was streamed over 20K times on Soundcloud within the first weeks of upload - 'Borders' is bewitching in its quiet strength and folk-electronica ambience.
The EP is out on March 9 via Unshaken Records. Written in the shadow of the Pennines and produced in London with Rich Cooper (Mystery Jets, BANKS), it has enabled Stephenson to see his bedroom demos turm into powerful, fully-formed songs.
