Listen :: Radio On - You're Always Right

Debut single from both artist and record company here. Radio On are the newly sprung four-piece band, who release their infectiously indie pop single 'You're Always Right' on May 4, on the fledgling Making Visible label.

The single follows Radio On's - who take their name from a Christopher Petit 70s road movie - early debut with the track ‘Don’t Wait’, emerging via Killing Moon’s 'New Moons Vol II' compilation, curated in conjunction with Radio 1’s Ally McCrae.

Drawing some parallels with the likes of Citizens! and Dutch Uncles, 'You're Always Right', with  its fizzy stabs of synths and choppy guitars, was inspired lyrically by a road trip frontman Sam made to an exhibit by artist David Hockney, depicting the Yorkshire towns in which he’d previously lived. Identifying with Hockney’s sense of wanderlust, Sam took a road trip through all Hockney’s
previous hometowns and, as such, he arrived at this single.

The band play a single launch show at The Islington, London on May 6.
