Other Lives Share New Track // Europe & UK Dates

With their third album ‘Rituals’ imminent (on May 4), Portland’s adopted sons Other Lives have shared a new track ‘2 Pyramids’, which will follow a week later (May 11) via Play It Again Sam.

‘2 Pyramids’ comes into view, cascading orchestral beauty before the emergence of an enthralling vocal, courtesy of Jesse Tabish. The primal-like percussion befits a song that embarks on a voyage of realisation, as Tabish explains: “It was inspired by a Joseph Campbell book, a commentary on the human need for the belief in something beyond the self - ‘2 Pyramids’ representing an archetypal symbol that protects from irrational entities. The conflict between primal and rational is a common theme throughout the album”.

The band return to the UK later this month as part of a series of European [PIAS] Nites that sees them play at London’s Oslo on April 23.
