We love Never Young. Oh yes. Since they first treating us to tracks from the EP released in March (read our 8.5/10 review here) on the Father/Daughter label, we knew they were our kinda guys. As we said then, Never Young, going by these first tracks, are an outfit to keep on your radar, as we can only imagine a full album-worth of material from them will be an undeniable banger.
But for now the Bay Area noise punks have just put out a visual adornment to their first single from the EP, 'Like A Version'. Directed by Armando Armas, it’s a somewhat disturbing, but hugely watchable, counterpart to the song's underlying chill.
Basically, the video features...hell, you know what? We are not going to tell you - we'll just make you more eager to see it for yourself. All we will say is: beware black leather-gloved hands.
