While maybe a minute could have been shaved of this track 'Mexico' from new London indie rockers We Are Falcon, we know these kind of rockin type dudes are always big on length, so the five minutes-plus here they will no doubt justify.
It's still a good song, however, hence its being awarded TOTD. The band themselves sum it up in saying, they think they have "a unique but familiar sound", and while 'Mexico' is a track you feel somewhere at the back of your memory you may have heard before, it steers off on other little tangents that are not so deja vu. It's also the lead track from their new upcoming EP, 'Hot Blood'.
