Introducing :: Jouk Mistrow

Words: Ellie Ward

The garage rock Brisbane-ites Jouk Mistrow follow up their debut 3-track EP release last August, 'Did We?', with new single out this week - 'Oh Well'.

The lead cut from the trio's - formerly known as Rabbit - upcoming 'I'm The Villain So Don't' EP due in September, you can perhaps detect an early Bombay Bicycle Club or even Arctic Monkeys influence in there, but their ability to diversify means that with the distinctive vocals of Ethan Greaves and sardonic pop lyrics, catchy choruses and basslines grooves which drive the songs along, their focus covers a gamut from alt-rock to grunge.

Check out 'Oh Well' further down, and also 'Ghoul (If You Want Me To)' from their first EP.
