Debut single 'Fine' is the first taste of new Manchester-based garage pop act The Foetals, the latest addition to the Swedish Punk Slime Recordings roster.
The Foetals is the new project of Jolan Lewis, the frontman of The Pink Teens (fka Temple Songs) who also plays in Francis Lung’s (ex-WU LYF) band as well as Aldous RH.
The track was recorded in Jolan’s own studio in just two days, and comes as the lead single from the band's debut LP 'Meet The Foetals' set for release in October. 'Fine' is, just quite fine, really; the kind of track that cries out for more hearings, with its touch of sprightly indie that crosses with garage rock-infused jangly guitars and a 60s pop coating.
