Newcastle's Tessera Skies describe their latest contribution ’Dreaming/Sleeping’ as “a paranoid sleep-chant ... a single thought that in sleep and dreams you’re at your most exposed and the most true to yourself.”
It’s certainly dreamy, which one would expect from this ambient dreampop outfit. There's a purposeful laziness to the vocals that adds a psychedelic touch, whilst around it an orchestra of ethereal sounds mould together to create a perfect image of dreaming. It's enough to send you drifting into the land of Nod!
The ‘Out of Sight’ single, produced by Mick Ross, was released on June 1 via North Base Records in conjunction with Amazing Radio Co. and it is certainly one to get your hands on, if you haven’t already. You can even grab a free download of both single sides via the Soundcloud link below.
