BANFF, aka Benjamin Forbes (the once frontman of Brisbane band Little Casino), has shared a track from his debut EP ‘Future Self’ which came out yesterday (June 19) via We Are Golden +Create/Control. And what a stunner it is.
'All Again' opens on some interesting sounds in the style of Burial with piano and tapped percussion that sees it gradually build in intensity through entrancing soul-ripe layers of synth and Forbes' mellow rich vocal.
The EP follows Forbes' solo singles ‘Stand In Line’ and ‘The Great
Unknown’ - both of which have totalled over 240,000 online plays - and sees his collaboration with Tom Iansek (Big Scary/#1 Dads ) at Big Scary ’s Mixed Business studio in Melbourne.
