Baltimore noise-rockers Dope Body first impressed us back in the early summer of 2012 when they laid out 'Shook' from their 'Natural History' album. Maybe something of a required taste, but they did it for us; follow-up 'Lifer', released last year, continuing along the same buzz heavy lines.
Now, three years on, they are about to release another cut from their latest upcoming album. 'Old Grey' is the first track from 'Kunk', and be warned: guard your ears if you have trouble with sharp-edged metallic saw sounds in your music. Noisy, ferocious, scarred and scratchy. A raw rawk attack.
Dope Body hit Europe later this year with a raft of dates, starting in the UK in Brighton on September 7, and including several shows with Future Islands.
