Friday Club have been on Little Indie's radar now since early 2013 (who could forget 'All I Wanna Do Is Fuck'!) with their self-titled debut EP (recorded with Superfood's Dom Ganderton) of later that year receiving a 8.5/10 rating from us (see review here).
Bar a few more tracks put out early in 2014, there has been no more heard from the grunge wave Birmingham outfit, until their now having suddenly announced at the end of last week they had a new song dropping.
'Being Me Is Easy', while still resounding with their trademark raw guitar riffs of previous, takes on an added shimmer of catchy pop hooks, with vocalist Josh Smithyman lending a soulfully seductive overlay to proceedings.
