LOOSE BUTTONS - THRILL

Taken from the upcoming 'Tales From The Horsehouse' album out October 5, by the London art-rock four-piece who take inspiration from David Lynch’s Twin Peaks, Nick Cave and Wire.





HUSBAND MATERIAL - BIGGER MAN
From Bristol/London label Art Is Hard Records Singles Club, angelic vocals, melting synths, snappy drum hits, and swooning guitar via a line-up that includes ex-Bos Angeles, Richard Board on vocals and George Rothman, drums. Catch them live tomorrow (August 29) at The AIH 5th Birthday, Bristol (with Male Bonding, Trust Fund, The Black Tambourines plus others).





WRSTLNG - NO SHIT, SHERLOCK
The rather mysterious Gothenburg quartet who have been steadily dropping tracks online for the last year - this alt-rock number being the latest. Twanging riffs in pop melodies.





CHARLIE'S HAND MOVEMENTS - FLOW
Title track from the new EP by Benfleet (Essex) alt-pop duo Lance Keeble (guitars, bass, keys, vocals, beats) and Adam Gardner (guitars, keys, vocals), released last Friday. Interesting chord structures and subtle vocals.





ALL DOGS - HOW LONG
The Maryn Jones (also of folk-punk band Saintseneca) fronted Columbus, Ohio/Philadelphia fuzz pop four-piece outfit's taste of debut album 'Kicking Every Day' released today. Pointed lyrics (“Only you let me in/When I’m tearing off my skin”) in a similar vein to Waxahatchee and Mitski.





NEW DESERT BLUES - SUMMER SKIN
Melodic guitars and honeyed vocals in this balladesque new single from the Hampshire/London sextet. See them this Sunday, August 30, at the Victorious Festival, Portsmouth.





SHOPPING - STRAIGHT LINES
New single from the trio which also appears on their album 'Why Choose', out October 2 on FatCat Records. Catch them live on UK dates starting September 1 at London's Village Underground, before they head to N. America on tour thru October / November. Fresh, angular post-punk from East London.

Mellow vibes from the Bath singer/songwriter's just released lead single from upcoming new album 'Further Misadventures', out September 25.





GET INUIT - I AM THE HOT AIR
The new "dirty pop" release of chugging guitars and sprightly rhythms from the Kent indie four-piece, which is featured on ‘Margate, Kent Vs. New Paltz, NY’ released September 25 via Sexx Tapes and Team Love Records.
