After parading his wares as touring guitarist with Deerhunter (he also played on their last album, 'Monomania'), Atlanta musician Frankie Broyles now steps into the spotlight in his own right with 'Capturer', his first solo single release, out on August 21 via Lefse Records.
You'll definitely fall in love with this if you appreciate the sound of minimal, yet lushly driven reverbed guitar set in a smoothly worked groove that could indeed come from the likes of Deerhunter or even Tame Impala. Broyles' vocals become hypnotic, working their way around the cracking beats in an eerily magnetic way.
