With a name like The Insomniac Project you might think that this Glaswegian six-piece might sound a touch soporific. However, the opening chords of this debut single soon assure you are unlikely to be nodding off.
'In And Out (Of My Head)', which is released on August 31, was produced by Lewis Gardiner of fellow Glaswegian synth-poppers Prides, and follows the band's three earlier demos. A disco-infused electronic pop piece, with a big hitter chorus 'In And Out (Of My Head)' is a dancefloor mover that is impossible to sit - or stand - still to.
The band play a single launch show at Nice 'N' Sleazy In Glasgow on September 4.
