The debut single produced, written and performed by JOY., 'About Us', is as its owner's name suggests, a joy to listen to - not least that this is the work of 17-year-old Australian Olivia McCarthy.
The track - which in just one week has received over 35,000 Soundcloud plays - comes from the singer and multi-instrumentalist's debut self-produced EP, 'Ode', which is released on August 28.
With her ethereal vocals and dreamy percussion, effortlessly fused with pop and beats in a precise production, it's no wonder that big things are being predicted for this Brisbane artist.
