We first featured Fossa here a year ago when hearing 'Five Days', the lead cut from their 'Sea Of Skies' EP.
Now the East London four-piece return with this new demo, 'Silo'. And considering it's a 'demo', we are mightily impressed. Fossa's style of electronic alt rock has been variously compared to Wild Beasts and Alt-J, with Louis Shadwick's intriguing vocal - that can shift so effortlessly up and down the register - once again being utilised to maximum effect on this latest affecting track, that slowly builds on intricate melody and a last half that is crafted with instrumental experimentation.
The band play several dates supporting Born Ruffians on their UK tour next month:
October 6: Manchester - Gullivers
October 7: London - The 100 Club
October 8: Brighton - Patterns
These are followed by an appearance at Norwich Sound & Vision Festival on October 10.
