Track Of The Day :: Jesuits - Dinner Jazz

Jesuits are fast becoming one of our favourite bands this year. We loved the Bristol fuzzy pop outfit's very short, but full of good vibes, 'Carpet Floors', back in August, and they now return with something longer - and lovelier still.

Now the aforementioned 'Carpet Floors' gets its official release as their debut single, along with 'Dinner Jazz' on October 17 via Gravy Train Recordings. 'Dinner Jazz' - a nice three minutes, in comparison to the single's sub-two minute flipside - for all its name, is not so much about the jazz (there isn't any) as about being like a 60s styled Stone Roses being covered by a bunch of 21st century psych-grungers. Brilliant stuff.

Stream 'Dinner Jazz' here, and check out the video further down.
