The US hard grunge rockers Hobart W. Fink released their 'Post Hummus' EP in November via Burger Records imprint Wiener Records & All Scene Eye.
The spiky three-track record - produced by Chris Kasych (Wavves, Vampire Weekend) - of raw, crackling spits of fierce, power punching guitars, heavy riffs and vocal harmonies of Jayk Gallagher and Lauren Lakis, fuses elements of Sonic Youth, Queens of The Stone Age and Nirvana.
Check out their very un-twee 'White Christmas' from the EP below. It ain't no Bing Crosby, that's for sure.
Hobart W. Fink play Church Of Fun w/ Terminal A + others ("go to Melrose n Madison n look for bike tied to church steeple"), Los Angeles on December 12.
