'A Moment To Return' is the lead single from Sydney-based indie pop four-piece Why We Run's upcoming album - and a cracker it is too.
Produced by ARIA-winning Wayne Connolly (Paper Kites, Boy & Bear, Cloud Control), 'A Moment To Return' sweeps along combining groove-rich guitar riffs, subtle synth underlay and a steady rolling drumbeat that keeps it buoyant behind Nic Cogels' extremely more-ish vocal. At just under three minutes, it still feels way too short.
They've already given us 'Comfortable Lie' and 'Ignites' earlier this year, and with their debut album set for next April, Why We Run look like a band to keep pace with.
