Dreampop doesn't get much more dreamier or lovelier than Winnipeg's Living Hour. After earlier contributing two tracks to 'Family Portrait II', a vinyl compilation put out by the UK-based label Art Is Hard in April and releasing a limited edition cassette of their self-titled debut album the same month, the Canadians are now set to release the record world-wide with Lefse Records on February 19 2016.
And 'Seagull' is perhaps one of the most delightful five minutes you are likely to have this week. Blending an essence of psych guitar pop with haunting lo-fi vocals, the gauzy, watery melodies wash over you like being at the edge of a shoreline. Drift away.
