One To Watch :: TRASH

Words: Ellie Ward

"HERE'S A NEW SONG / DEMO / THING
recorded in our bedrooms so doesn't sound too good but it's a taste of what kinda music we're writing for 2016 pop music music to have sex to maybe
xxx"

Unveiled just before Christmas via their Facebook, here's Chesterfield's up-and-thrusting TRASH with new track 'Die Happy'.

Following 'Sad Boys (All I Wanna Do)', taken from their debut EP 'Urban Glow' released in September, the four-piece (Dan - vocals, rhythm guitar; Evan - lead guitar, backing vocals, synth; Tom - bass; Brad - drums) have been delivering their 'trash pop' sound since forming in 2014. Now signed to Clue Records, TRASH looks like being hip in 2016 with their jangly, surfy melodies and lush vocals which make for an addictive indie-pop mix.

TRASH play the Players Bar, Wakefield on January 30 with Allusondrugs.
