Following a sold out show at The Waiting Room in London last month, Homerton five-piece Ulrika Spacek are now gearing up for their biggest headline show to date, playing London’s Electrowerkz on September 27.
Prior to that, they have produced a mind-bending live video to 'She's A Cult', which you can see in full below.
Formed in Berlin in one night, old friends Rhys Edwards and Rhys Williams visualised ‘Ulrika Spacek’ and came up with 'The Album Paranoia' as their debut album title. Moving back to their shared house ‘KEN’ last summer - a former art gallery in Homerton - they took a DIY approach to recording the album and created the record solely within ‘KEN’. Releasing the alt-rock masterpiece to praise earlier this year through Tough Love Records, and gaining comparisons to Deerhunter, Radiohead and Television, their dynamic live set-up and abstract performance has allowed Ulrika Spacek to create an escapist world within their hypnotic sound.
