There are two things that immediately stand out about this debut single from new London quartet Inca Maps: the exceedingly high falsetto of vocalist Matt Tilling (if he was ever a choirboy, he would no doubt have enchanted many a parishioner as his voice soared to the heavens), and the jagged indie pop styling on 'Weave' that draws comparison to Wild Beasts in its twinkly percussion notes, rhythmic progression and vocal layering.
'Weave' is out on September 30.
