London trio Strong Asian Mothers are no strangers to Little Indie's pages though we might just tag them as a tad such...(we're still awaiting the 'Lick My Body' cover...)
Anyway, after not long ago dropping on us the wonders of 'Don't Let Go', they now return 'Sober'...well, of a sort...with the release of this latest single tomorrow (November 18), that once again sees their touch of electro-pop built around dark, brooding rhythm sections, and intricate synth work.
“'Sober' was inspired by waking up one morning after a heavy night and hearing in the next bedroom a girl shout at a boy 'I CAN'T STAND YOU WHEN IM F**KING SOBER’” the band explain. "It's about debauched drunken nights and flings in which one person wants more than the other does.”
Strong Asian Mothers play Hoxton Square Bar and Kitchen, London on November 30.
