We first introduced three girl Melbourne outfit Camp Cope in February. Now, following their self-titled debut album release in April, they - Georgia Maq, vocals/guitar, Kelly Hellmrich, bass, and Sarah Thompson, drums - return with new single, 'Keep Growing', which is out tomorrow (February 18) via Poison City Records.
Having just won the gong for Best Emerging Act at The Age Music Victoria Awards, 'Keep Growing' shows they are doing just that as they reflect on a spirit of independence as Maq delivers lines like “I’m not gonna walk like I’m in your shadow anymore / I’ll keep growing my hair out/ I never want to do anything when you’re around/ I’ll keep growing my hair out/ It’s not for you" in her distinct drawled tone.
