If Brighton wasn't already awash with bands, here comes another swimming in with the tide: SEATS.
The electro, fuzzy dreampop four-piece have just dropped their debut single, 'Via Miracles', this week, after dipping their toes in the festival waters of City Sound Project, Y Not and Together The People, and uploading several demos to their Soundcloud late last year.
"'Via Miracles' is about a club [on Brighton seafront] we like called Volks," bassist Elliot Morgan tells us. "It's just about the whole going-out experience and what it's actually like inside the club." Which we would say, is not so much fuzzy - as the band describe their sound - as delving into psych-gaze territory with some decidedly trippy elements.
Catch SEATS live for two Brighton shows next month: Fiddlers Elbow, Brighton on December 2, and The Hope & Ruin on December 3 (with Sahara and SONS for This Feeling).
SEATS are: Aiden Llewllyn (vocals/guitar), Sebastian Cole (synth/guitar), Elliot Morgan (bass), Thomas Earl (drums).
